Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller

The Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller is the number one choice for parents with triplets after all, with this much work to do moms and dads need as much help as they can get. Pretty much all normal tasks are three times as difficult with 3 children to take care of and triple strollers do help to provide some welcome support to parents. Triple Strollers certainly provide a helping hand and usefully can be purchased in a number of different configurations.

First off, one of the most popular versions is a side by side triple stroller which by virtue of its name is rather wide but does allow you to gain access to the children quickly and easily. Secondly, there are inline versions that allow your kids to be seated in a line, one in front of the other.

However, now onto our review of the Baby Jogger XC Triple Stroller which is naturally popular with twins and an older child the Summit provides you with opportunities to work out or take your children to the park or trail - with three little ones to take care of this maybe the only method that busy moms can use to work out without having a babysitter look after your children. The leading feature of the Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller is of course that it seats three children of varying ages.

Baby Jogger recommended the initial age of use for this triple stroller is 6 months although some parents have used it earlier using the fully reclined seating setup.

Make no mistake, this is a good sized tandem stroller but despite this has excellent balance and is very effortless to push. For uncomplicated sidewalk trips the front wheels turn by way of a swivel and for jogging, can be locked into position making this a great choice for running. Collapsing the stroller is a very simple operation using the ergonomic pull handles.

Unlike the older versions of the Baby Jogger Triple Strollers, this new model will recline fully (almost entirely flat) which is useful for smaller children and sleeps. There are many positive elements of the Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller although there are also some points to consider;

This stroller for twins plus one is fairly heavy weighing in at 62lbs.

As I mentioned earlier the width is larger than a traditional jogging stroller given the additional seat, and is around 45" in width. This means that you will have to negotiate carefully 'normal' sized doorways. You also need to be mindful of the fact that in most cases the Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller will take up most of the sidewalk therefore requires careful steering on tight spaces (sidewalks with bushes etc).

I have not heard of any parents having problems with moving the stroller into a trunk considering its weight but it can be awkward of your are particularly petite for example.

Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller Features;

Quick folding technology enables you to fold your stroller in one simple motion
16" rear and dual 12" front molded polymer quick-release pneumatic wheels with sealed ball bearings
Lockable swivel front wheels for jogging or exercise purposes
All wheel independent suspension provides the smoothest ride for a triple stroller
Manual Hand operated rear drum brakes for assured control on difficult terrains
All seats are adjustable and fully padded that recline to a near flat position
Vented and removable (washable too) seat tops and retractable weather covers

In summary then, the Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller is comfortable for children utilising its all wheel independent suspension system and is very adaptable being able to accommodate trips to the mall, hiking trails or park easily. Storage options are plentiful with storage compartments located in the back seats and a nice large storage basket area under the seat perfect for diaper bags, bottle, toys, equipment and other Stroller Accessories.

For quick collapsing and storing the Baby Jogger Summit Triple Stroller comes complete with quick release wheels and an aluminum frame. Safety features include the now standard 5-point locking harnesses for total stroller safety.
