Convaid ME12 Metro Special Needs Stroller

The Convaid ME12 Metro special needs
stroller is full of supportive features you would expect from an adaptive stroller. With an
fully contoured seat, strong back and adjustable trunk supports this metro version of the convaid design helps
ensure your infant or older child is seated in the correct postural position.
As you would expect, a fully adjustable pelvic
support feature ensures your child is comfortable and importantly retains the correct posture
according to his or her special needs. These features are not available in a typical children's stroller. A major
benefit for parents is the ability of the Special Need
Stroller to collapse into a neat and lightweight package (see picture)
meaning you can store and transport the mobility stroller anywhere.
The manufacturer of these excellent strollers for handicapped
infants or older children refer to them as 'wheelchairs' and whilst they resemble a normal stroller
in design they do have many parallels to wheelchair in terms of features. Similar to a wheelchair design, Convaid
Metro benefits from pivoting foot rests along with fully moveable arm rests which combined with a significant
lateral support system caters for the majority of special needs.
The Convaid ME12 Metro also benefits from their transit option which
in essence means two small ring brackets can be secured to the stroller thereby enabling the stroller to be secured
safely whilst being transported.
With the ability to fold down almost flat for storage and transportation the Convaid ME12
Metro weighs in at a light 18lbs and as you can see from the picture will easily fit into the
trunk and store away nicely when not in use.
Just a small selection of the features of the Convaid ME12

tested 'transit model' as an option which is fully WC19 compliant |

Convaid pride themselves in their testing of these special needs disabled strollers and have
